Job Duties:
The IT recruiter typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which might include:
- Manage the entire life cycle of the recruitment process us.
- Reviewing resumes and identifying candidates who meet the qualifications for available positions.
- Develop recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
- Evaluate the candidate's strengths compared with clients' requirements by, for example, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate.
- Reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates for positions to ensure they meet the job requirements.
- Work with Account Managers to identify top accounts, target skills, key market segments, and to assess our staffing requirements.
- Complete or coordinate necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background.
- Coordinating and getting pre-paid activities such as resume reviews or job-hunting tours.
- Negotiating compensation packages with candidates on behalf of the company.
IT Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Managing, consolidating, and growing our team.
- Negotiating and agreeing on hiring plans with the HR team.
- Managing interviews, assessments, and shortlist selection.
- Running push-and-pull recruitment processes.
- Mentoring junior team members.
Required Skill Set:
You need to possess the following qualifications, skills, and behaviors:
- At least five years’ experience in a recruitment role
- Strong decision-making ability
- Expert knowledge of all interview, assessment, and selection techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Expert knowledge of HR databases and applicant tracking systems
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
