AutoCAD 2D Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create precise and accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into visual representations.
  • Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for the showroom layout.
  • Incorporate design changes and modifications as directed by senior designers or project managers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to incorporate their specifications into the design.
  • Maintain and update design documentation, including drawings, schedules, and project files.
  • Assist in material and equipment selection to support the design process.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail & ability to produce accurate technical drawings for the organization.
  • Solid understanding of architectural and interior design principles to create meaningful designs and user interface.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High level of creativity and problem-solving ability.
  • A degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
